A Bunch of Exciting Updates!
Hello! The last week of Advanced Placement exams are done, prom was Friday, and track is winding down. Life has been busy over here!
Taking a break from studying last Wednesday evening, I spent some time with church friends. At St. Joe’s, we were able to visit the traveling statue of Our Lady of Fatima, blessed by the pope, that would travel to be at the United Nations yesterday for the 100th anniversary. Then we were able to attend a “Reboot Live” talk by one of my role models, Chris Stefanick! We got to meet him and chat with him for a few minutes. He’s an awesome human being and I took away some pretty inspiring tidbits, particularly when he said “‘God, why are there kids starving in Haiti?’ ‘I don’t know, Chris, I was just about to ask you!'"
Here’s some of my favorite people hanging out with Chris!
I’ve also been painting tons of Mary cards for a really awesome company! I’ll announce the exciting collaboration as soon as I can.
I was so excited to get my Roots & Shoots grant-leader t-shirt in the mail! I helped design the shirt and it was so great to see it come to life.
I’m also excited to announce that I recently have become an ambassador for two companies— Simply Gold and Sand Cloud. Sand Cloud is a super awesome company working to raise money for marine conservation. More to follow, but for now I have my own discount code. Use OliviaCol25 for 25% off.
New tapestries are also up at St. Joes for First Communion season. 😃
The month of May is always jam-packed with opportunities and school— but I cannot wait for some of the things coming up! I’ll be filming some more with CatholicTV soon, and my summer travel adventures are starting up in June. I can’t wait!!
Here's some prom pics: :)
Thank you to everyone who continues to support me.
