"Be Strong & Courageous, and Do the Work."

Hello! This week was a busy week, winding down from the NCWIT Aspiration Awards in Charlotte last weekend. I just got home from Mass at Resurrection Parish where I was thrilled to give a witness talk to the teens after Mass. Thank you so much Fr. Sinisa for inviting me to come speak. Also, a huge thank to my beautiful P3 family who came out to support me. Last week, I just casually mentioned that I would be speaking on Sunday, and they all were like “When? What? We’re coming!” It’s not often that I speak around here (and not very often that I speak anywhere near Massachusetts!) so it was amazing to have people supporting me. Thank you Fr. Sinisa for always being an awesome role model and for having me tonight. Like I was saying earlier, even if I just touched one kid just a little bit, then it’s all worth it.

Also this week, I met Mr. Jay Fadden and Bishop Reed from CatholicTV… Just saying, some exciting collaborations may be in the works!

I’d also like to share an update on a blog post I wrote for Dr. Jane Goodall’s blog last week about the plastic ban in Delhi, India. I am so humbled by the response on social media. Between the Roots & Shoots and the JGI Facebook pages alone, it’s been shared over 5,000 times and reached millions of people! Every hour the number keeps exponentially growing! Hopefully some serious change can come out of it. (Also, I’m just really proud of the meme at the end of that blog post. Humor me and check it out.)

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me in all of my crazy adventures! Until next week.

Totus Tuus.

God bless,

Olivia
