Fundraising for Haiti: Lumibox Feature & Kingston Craft Fair
Last week I excitedly announced that I’ll be going to Haiti this summer, and this week I’d like to announce some awesome art projects I’ve had in the works—some of which are helping me raise money for my trip!
I can finally share that the dozens of Mary greeting cards I have been painting were for Lumibox, a Catholic monthly subscription box that features Catholic artists and companies. They reached out to me in April, so this month each of their boxes contained one of my hand-painted cards, as well as an interview with me in their printed daily devotionals. Lumibox and I are planning some collaborations in the near-feature, so stay tuned!
For local people, I will be a vendor at the Lion’s Club craft fair/flea market at the Kingston Collection from on Sunday June 4. I will be selling an array of cards, paintings, and other hand-painted items to raise money for my trip to Haiti. As I’m preparing, I’m having flashbacks to some of my first craft fairs!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support me. Hope to see some people at the Lions Club Expo!
